Compliance
Verification comes first
Every transaction with Portline starts with knowing who is on the other side. We issue offers only to verified companies, and we work with intermediaries only when they hold a written authorisation.
Full KYC before any offer
Before we issue an offer, the buyer sends us:
- Company registration documents
- Identity documents of the authorised signatories
- Identity details of the ultimate beneficial owners
No offer is issued until these documents have been received and checked.
Intermediaries with a written authorisation
We work with brokers and mandate holders who present an authorisation letter from the company they represent, signed by one of that company's authorised signatories. The company they represent goes through the same full KYC.
Without this letter, we cannot take a request forward.
Payment secured by a bank
Payment is made by letter of credit (LC) or standby letter of credit (SBLC). The instrument must be irrevocable, transferable and divisible.
Instruments transferred to the buyer from another company are not accepted.
No advance fees, no sanctioned parties
Portline never asks for an advance payment, commission or transaction fee at any stage. If you receive a message asking for such a payment in our name, it did not come from us; please report it to info@portline.energy.
We do not deal with persons or countries on the sanctions lists of the European Union, the United Nations or the United States.
Where to start
Send us your company details and the product you need. If you act on behalf of a buyer or seller, attach your authorisation letter to your first email.
Need more information?
Tell us the product, volume and destination port, and we will take it from there.
